How To Cure Cancer Naturally

I know it’s a bold statement, but I want you to know that you can cure cancer. The first thing you need to know is that cancer is not a death sentence – no matter what you have been told. When doctors say ‘there is nothing more that can be done’ they would be more accurate and, in my opinion, a lot wiser, if they said ‘there is nothing more that WE know to do’. Time and again I have seen people recover from such death sentences.

The truth is, you can take control of your health and cure cancer or any other disease that may be afflicting you. It may sound impossible in today’s environment because we are basically told that we cannot cure disease on our own, but humans have been curing themselves of disease since the beginning of humanity.

Here is a story I often tell my patients to give them some perspective. If you are not used to using a hammer or working with hand-tools and I asked you to come over to my house to help build a barn or a garage and you’re hanging onto this hammer all day long pounding nails, what do you think would happen to your hand over time from the irritation of using that hammer? You would develop calluses – thick, dead tissue that would develop where you constantly irritate the skin of your hand. Now, what do you think would happen after you put the hammer down and you stop the irritation? What happens is that the calluses go away, naturally, as a result of the body taking care of itself.

This is exactly what happens in the body relative to cancer. If you are toxic, if you are out of balance, if you are nutritionally deficient or deficient in oxygen or hydration, your immune system is going to be compromised. Your pH is going to be on the acid side, you are going to have tissue hypoxia (not enough oxygen in the body) and what happens, as a reflection of all of that, is that you can acquire a tumor. You can acquire cancer. Actually, your body has been set up as a breeding ground for cancer!

Now, what happens if you stop the irritation? What happens if you detoxify your body and you hydrate and oxygenate it and you give yourself proper nutrition and exercise? Your immune system is no longer suppressed. It can modulate into an effective state — the state that you were in prior to acquiring cancer — and the body heals itself. It gets rid of the cancer.

When the irritating toxins and conditions are gone, the body’s pH is shifted to alkaline and the immune system recovers its power — the cancer goes away. That’s how you can cure yourself of cancer.

Get to the causes of cancer and remove them — not unlike holding a hammer, having calluses, setting down the hammer, and then having no calluses. That’s how the body works and it works that way to cure cancer, to get rid of infections, and to deal with other ‘diseases’.

The body knows how to heal itself, once it is given a chance. That’s where the miracle of a natural cure for cancer can be found – it is in your own very nature. As soon as you stop doing things that create illness, and start doing things that create health, your body will have an opportunity to restore your vitality and recover your health. That is how you can cure cancer naturally.

Alternative Medicine

Ever wondered why alternative medicine is so popular? Read on to find out.

Alternative medicine is preferred to conventional medicine as it provides an easier and less painful way of curing diseases. There are certain health issues, which find a solution only in alternative medicine. Certain diseases can be cured in a better way through the use of alternative medicine. Alternative medicine provides a better personal control over health care decisions.

An important reason why alternative medicine is popular is because it is highly cost-effective. Alternative medicine treatments require the use of readily available natural substances. Therapies based on alternative medicine mostly use natural or homemade materials. Many of the alternative medicines are made from natural herbs. This makes the use of alternative medicine very economical. Its cost effective nature attracts the common masses towards it.

Practitioners of alternative medicine analyze each patient independently and encourage him/her to remain hopeful throughout the treatment. The treatment is based on the analysis of each patient, rather than his/her ailment. They believe in treating the patient and not just the disease. Most of the alternative medicine treatments involve a personal touch to the therapy. They involve individually understanding each case, rather than treating the symptoms generically.

Another very important advantage of alternative medicine is that it has no side effects. Methods such as Ayurveda and naturopathy make use of purely natural substances. which do not have any adverse effect on the body. Allergic reactions, rashes, nausea experienced by some, on using conventional medicine, are eliminated through the use of alternative medicine.

Alternative medicine involves exercises like yoga, meditation and relaxation therapies that greatly benefit the overall health of the patients.

The secret of the popularity of alternative medicine lies in the fact that it uses nature as the healer.

Alternative Cancer Treatments

Alternative cancer treatments are being utilized by millions of patients, either as a sole therapy or as an additional therapy along with the traditional therapies. Patients are now seeking alternative cancer treatments at just about any and every stage of their disease from initial diagnosis to late stage.

Traditional treatments, which are somewhat less toxic than in the past, can in fact be miserable ordeals. The success of these treatments is either overstated or understated. But one thing is clear…the most promising programs are the ones that integrate traditional and alternative cancer treatments. There are practitioners trained and licensed in traditional medicine that also posses experience with alternative cancer treatments. They are making the greatest progress in the fight against cancer. They design individualized programs for each patient.

Alternative cancer treatments include, but are not limited to the following and most are of questionable benefit: biological and pharmacologic therapie such as– antineoplastans, Gaston Naessens, Revici, and hydrazine sulfate; immune therapies such as immuno-augmentative, and Issel’s whole body therapy; herbal therapies such as Hoxsey, Essiac, mistletoe, Pau d’Arco, and chaparral; nutritional therapies such as wheatgrass, macrobiotics, Moerman’s anti-cancer diet; metabolic therapies such as Gerson, Kelley’s, and Hans Nieper; adjunctive therapies such as oxygen, ozone, hyperthermia, DMSO, chelation, and live cell; energy medicine such as bioelectric, homeopathy, ayurveda, and Chinese medicine.

concurrent therapy esophageal cancer
Also to be considered is the mind-body approaches. The most successful of practitioners will integrate various components of the alternative cancer treatments listed without being committed to a particular program.

Research and read everything you can on this subject. Seek out competent and compassionate counsel.
There is research to prove that cancer doctors spend an average of 1.3 minutes to answer their patients’ questions. Cancer requires a great deal more study and reflection since everyone truly is unique and deserves personal attention.

There is no one simple formula for success with cancer. People have overcome cancer by using conventional treatments and still others had success with experimental chemotherapy. And then, some people were successful using CAM. But in general, it seems that the majority of survivors are independent thinkers. Doctors often refer to them as ‘problem patients’. Their hopeful stories can keep you committed and inspired.

Alternative Medicine Approach to The Treatment of Cancers

Being diagnosed with any type of cancer whether it is breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, skin cancer or colon cancer among other is not pleasant, but most people cringe at the thought of having to undergo traditional cancer treatments like radiology and chemotherapy. But there are other solutions in the form of alternative cancer treatment.

There has been much dispute and debate over which treatment works the best, but it is thought that combining the more severe traditional treatments with an alternative cancer treatment. This can obviously depending on the severity of the cancer, the type of cancer and on other influencing factors. It is advised that before undergoing any alternative cancer treatment, that a medical practitioner is consulted.
Some cancer treatments that are considered alternative could also just be vitamin and mineral supplements to help boost the effectiveness of the traditional treatments. Other types of an alternative cancer treatment can include massages, acupuncture, aromatherapy, and meditation.

There are many natural methods that people are beginning to use as an effective alternative cancer treatment in fighting cancer. Some of these include a substance called laetrile which is found in some fruits. Many of these have not been proven and clinically tested but people do find relief from some of their cancer symptoms and even from the after effects of radiology and chemotherapy.

Another alternative cancer treatment is the recent discovery of the positive effects of shark cartilage and also hyperbaric oxygen therapy which is using high pressure oxygen which is found in atmosphere’s higher than sea level.

If a certain alternative cancer treatment is not proven, in order to access the side effects and how well it works, you might be asked to volunteer in one of the many clinical trials that are taking place. This can be a difficult decision as you might feel worse, but could also feel great. However the decision is ultimately up to you. Of course, you will need to consult with your medical practitioner first.

With so many options nowadays, you do not have to feel distraught about the ordeal you have to face if you are diagnosed with cancer. Be sure to research all your options thoroughly and choose an alternative cancer treatment that is best suited to you and the type of cancer you have. One of them is sure to provide at least a bit of relief physically and knowing that you have explored every option.

As I searched for information on both conventional and alternative cancer treatments, I was shocked to find how so many alternative cancer treatments had been lost to public knowledge, or discredited, or forced underground.

You must make up your own mind about alternative cancer treatment but I sincerely urge you to own your own health and not hand it over to someone else to own. There is no-one on the face of the earth with more interest in your well-being than you yourself. You must take control of your own destiny and not leave it to others who have their own vested interests!

Laryngeal Cancer: Cancer of the Throat

Laryngeal cancer may also be called cancer of the larynx or laryngeal carcinoma. Most laryngeal cancers are squamous cell carcinomas, reflecting their origin from the squamous cells which form the majority of the laryngeal epithelium. Cancer can develop in any part of the larynx, but the cure rate is affected by the location of the tumor. For the purposes of tumour staging, the larynx is divided into three anatomical regions: the glottis (true vocal cords, anterior and posterior commissures); the supraglottis (epiglottis, arytenoids and aryepiglottic folds, and false cords); and the subglottis. The larynx is an organ at the front of your neck. It is also called the voice box. It is about 2 inches long and 2 inches wide. It is above the windpipe (trachea). Below and behind the larynx is the esophagus. The larynx has two bands of muscle that form the vocal cords. The cartilage at the front of the larynx is sometimes called the Adam’s apple.

A laryngectomy is the removal of the voice box (larynx) from the neck, usually because of cancer. During this operation, a new route for breathing is surgically created. The end of the windpipe (trachea) is connected to a hole (stoma) made in the neck. Rather than using the mouth and the nose, the person will breathe through this hole. Because the patient with the laryngectomy breathes through a stoma, the air inhaled into the lungs is no longer warmed or moisturized by structures of the nose and mouth. It is protected in the front by the large thyroid cartilage, which can be felt as the "Adam’s apple" in our neck. When you feel for your Adam’s apple, directly under that large piece of firm cartilage is the voice box, or the glottic portion of the larynx where the true vocal cords are located. Directly above the actual voice box is the supraglottic larynx, or supraglottis. This area contains some of the lining of the throat, cartilage and muscles that control the movement of the vocal cords, and the epiglottis, which is a flap of cartilage that closes over the voice box to protect our airway during swallowing. Below the vocal cords is the subglottic larynx, or subglottis. People with cancer of the larynx often want to take an active part in making decisions about their medical care. It is natural to want to learn all you can about your disease and treatment choices.

However, shock and stress after a diagnosis of cancer can make it hard to remember what you want to ask the doctor. Alcohol: People who drink alcohol are more likely to develop laryngeal cancer than people who don’t drink. The risk increases with the amount of alcohol that is consumed. The risk also increases if the person drinks alcohol and also smokes tobacco. A personal history of head and neck cancer. Almost one in four people who have had head and neck cancer will develop a second primary head and neck cancer. Smoking is by far the strongest risk factor associated with the development of laryngeal cancer. Since it is fairly uncommon for a non-smoker to be diagnosed with laryngeal cancer, smoking cessation is the best way to prevent laryngeal cancer. In fact, not using tobacco of any kind, by either smoking or smokeless, is the healthiest thing anyone can do, both in terms of preventing laryngeal cancer, as well as the prevention of other throat cancers, lung cancers, and many other serious health problems. Types of Cancers- Risk Factors and Treatment

The exact cause of cancer is not known but researchers believe the causes are as a result of an interaction between the individual’s genes and the environment. Certain risk factors also appear to predispose an individual to developing these tumors. Several factors including the stage of the cancer and the health of the patient determine treatment of choice.

There are almost 100 types of cancers from cancer of the brain to cancer of the colon.
All cancers have two main characteristics. In each case:

There is uncontrollable growth of abnormal cells forming tumors.
They have the ability to invade other cells by migrating from their original site.

There are two types of tumors, benign and malignant. Benign tumors are non cancerous; malignant tumors are called cancers. Each year over 1 million Americans are diagnosed with one of these cancers. About 1:4 deaths in the USA is a result of cancer, this is second only to heart disease. It is estimated that about 7.6 million die annually. Cancer affects all ages, races and gender.

Types of Cancers
Carcinomas: Cancer of the epithelial cells, covering the body and lining the internal organs and glands. There are two types: squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma. Ninety percent of cancers are carcinomas.
Melanomas: Cancer of the melanocytes, the pigment of the skin
Lymphomas: Cancer of the lymph glands
Sarcomas: Cancer of the bones, muscles and blood vessels
Leukemia: Cancer of the blood

The commonest cancers are lung, colon, breast, prostate, skin, stomach and pancreatic. They account for almost 400,000 deaths in the USA annually.

Causes of Cancer
Researchers believe that the most common causes involve an interaction between the person’s genes and the environment. The small changes that occur bring about changes in the proteins that maintain and regulate body function. The common environmental factors are tobacco, radiation and asbestos.

Lifestyle choices such as diet, drugs and alcohol may also trigger changes in the cells DNA. Some cancers appear to run in the same family.

Diagnosis
A diagnosis of cancer is made by taking a medical history and doing a thorough physical examination. The type of investigations will depend on the site of the tumor. If cancer is suspected, a definite diagnosis can be made by obtaining a sample of the cancer cells for microscopic examination. This is called a biopsy. When cancer is diagnosed, there will be further investigations to determine how far the cancer has spread. The type of procedure will depend again on the location of the tumor. Investigations to detect metastases in other parts of the body may include:Computed Tomography (CT) scan, Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Risk Factors Associated ith Cancer

  • Poor Diet
  • Excessive use of alcohol, as in liver cancer
  • Tobacco use
  • Exposure to radiation and ultra violet rays as in skin cancer
  • Second hand smoke
  • Exposure to asbestos
  • Sexual behavior as in cervical cancer
  • Hormone replacement therapy

In about 1/3 of cases poor diet appeared to be a factor. Physical inactivity along with obesity and a high fat diet increases the risks. Alcohol with tobacco use increases the risk of certain cancers such as cancer of the mouth, larynx and oesophagus.

Prevention
Since the exact cause of cancer is not known, prevention lies in reducing or eliminating risk factors. In many cases this would involve lifestyle changes and self help health. There is a lot of evidence to support a healthy eating pattern, physical activity and keeping weight within limits as important.

  • A diet with lots of vegetables and fruit
  • A diet low in saturated fats
  • Regular physical activity, about 30 minutes a day
  • Regular screening for cancer such as breast, prostate, cervical and colon
  • Weight control to maintain weight within limits
  • Avoid tobacco use and second hand smoke
  • Protect you skin from ozone depletion
  • Control alcohol consumption

Treatment- Treatment will depend on the type of cancer, location, patient’s health, the stage and whether there is metastasis.

Surgery- This is the removal of the tumor and surrounding tissue. In many cases the organ or gland is removed. If the tumor has spread, surgery will include removal of the new cancerous tissue and lymph nodes. Surgery is the treatment of choice in stage1 and 2 cancers only.

Radiation therapy- This is the use of high-energy x-rays to kill cancer cells and to shrink tumors. Radiation may be used before surgery to shrink the tumor or after surgery to remove remaining cancer cells. It may also be used in the advanced stage of certain cancers to relieve symptoms. There are unpleasant side effects such as tiredness, loss of appetite and skin reactions.

Chemotherapy-This is the use of anti cancer drugs to destroy cancer cells. The drugs are either given orally or into the veins. They may be administered instead of other treatments or along with other treatments. They may be given before surgery and radiation, or following surgery to kill remaining cancer cells. There are side effects such as hair loss, nausea, vomiting and menstrual changes. Other forms of treatments include:

Throat Cancer Symptoms

When it comes to health, it is vital that you look for signs or symptoms that may lead to major ailments later. The best option is to nip it at the bud, especially when it comes to cancer as it easier to cure at the early stages. Learn more about throat cancer symptoms…

Cancer formed in the tissues of the pharynx is referred to as throat cancer; it begins in an area of the throat called larynx that contains the vocal chords and is used for breathing, swallowing and talking. It is a disease where malignant cells are found in tissues of the lips, mouth or tongue. The primary cause for mouth and throat cancer is smoking. People who consume excessive tobacco and alcohol are at a higher risk of developing throat cancer. Other factors include prolonged exposure to sunlight, regular inhalation of coal dust, asbestos and diesel fumes. The occurrence of throat cancer increases after age 50 and is more prominent among men rather than women.

General Symptoms

Some of the early symptoms of throat cancer are fairly general and, therefore, can easily be confused for some other condition or illness. Some of the common symptoms associated with throat cancer include:

Chronic earaches
Chronic sore throat
Difficulty speaking
Enlarged lymph nodes
Feelings of numbness in the face
Hoarse voice
Pain when swallowing
Visible sores in the mouth or on the tongue

The existence of throat cancer is determined by how long these symptoms last. Chronic or persisting cases of these symptoms can indicate throat cancer. Seek medical attention when you suffer from any combination of these symptoms. While you may not have throat cancer, medical attention is necessary to rule out any alternate potentially serious underlying cause. Chronic symptoms include the following:

Difficulty in Breathing
Loss of speech or voice
Disfigurement of face
Deformities in skin
Acute pain in swallowing

Treatment

Various factors need to be taken into consideration before deciding on the right treatment as it is rather risky as well as complex. The location of the cancer and the stage of development influence the impact the treatment may have on your speech as well.

The type of tumor and the extent to which the cancer has spread determines the treatment. Radiation therapy and surgery are the most common methods of treatment to cure throat cancer. Typically, surgery may involve complete removal of the larynx or partial cutting away of the vocal chords. A hole is made in the neck through which a tube is inserted into the windpipe in order to help the patient breathe, which could be either temporary or permanent. Radiation therapy is a process wherein cancerous cells from a localized area are destroyed by using high powered rays. Radiation therapy is coupled with surgery when there is a recurrence of the tumor after surgery. Chemotherapy is also done if the cancer has spread to other areas of the body.

How to prevent throat cancer?

If you do suffer from throat cancer, early diagnosis of the condition is essential to getting the best results from treatment options. However, if you are someone who does not smoke or drink alcohol, you have greatly reduced the risk of developing throat cancer.

1.Abstain from smoking or excessive drinking as they are the primary causes for throat cancer.
2.Maintain proper dental hygiene. If you are someone who wears dentures, keep them well cleaned and rinsed. Oral irritation increases the risk of oral cancer.
3.Develop the habit of eating healthy and nutrient rich meals regularly. Consume at least five servings of fresh fruits and vegetables everyday. A poor diet has been linked to oral or throat cancer.
4.It has been observed that over exposure to the sun increases the risk of developing oral cancer. The ultra violet rays damage the skin on your lips. When you are out in the sun, always remember to use lip balm on your lips to protect your skin. Applying sunscreen on your face and body helps protect your skin from the harsh rays of the sun.

Make a wise decision and abstain from smoking or excessive consumption of alcohol. Alternately, if you are a smoker, quit smoking. There is nothing worthwhile compared to good health and happy living. It is never too late to quit. Live a cancer-free life!

Natural Cancer Treatment Vs Conventional Cancer Treatment

During anti cancer treatment (Conventional cancer treatment), it is difficult to protect the healthy cells of side effects caused by the drugs administered. Although the effects of treatment vary according to each patient and the medications used, all cancer patients suffer adverse effects of treatment that affect their skin, look and internal organs. An important part of the work of clinicians and patients is to precisely manage those potential side effects. The role of this article is to summarize the main side effects caused by different types of conventional cancer treatments and potential natural treatment (including nutrition, remedies and immunotherapy). Let’s start with the conventional methods.

There are four (4) types of anti cancer treatment:

Surgery – Surgery, the oldest form of cancer treatment, is used in cancer treatment either to remove only the tumor, or the entire organ. Cancer surgery offers the greatest chance for cure of cancers that have not spread to other parts of the body. However, no matter how successful a surgery can be, it provokes one or all the following side effects:
-Risk of wound infection
-Damage to internal organs and blood vessels during surgery
-Blood clots can form in the deep veins of the legs after surgery, especially if a person remains in bed for a long time
-Reactions to anesthesia or other medicines. Although rare, these can be serious because they can cause dangerously low blood pressures.
-Problems with other organs, such as the lungs, heart, or kidneys. These are very rare but can happen and can be life-threatening.

Radiotherapy – Radiation therapy is the use of ionizing radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. It can be administered externally (external beam radiotherapy) or internally (brachytherapy).
Unfortunately, radiation can cause severe blood changes including drop in production of new blood cells, nausea, anemia and vomiting. Other short/long-term side effects of radiotherapy may include:
-Irritation and burning of the skin
-Infertility – radiation to the testicles can cause permanent loss of sperm production
-Fatigue is a common effect of radiation. It may be linked to anemia or weakened immune system
-Brain disorder – radiation therapy to the brain can cause changes in brain function that can lead to memory loss, lower sexual desire, etc.
-Skin disorder – radiation therapy can make your skin become tender or sensitive. The skin may also become dry and itchy. Peeling of the skin may occur.
-Second cancers – the radiation itself can cause Second cancers (metastases)
-Erectile dysfunction – radiation therapy to the pelvis can damage the arteries and nerves that supply the penis and cause problems with erections

Chemotherapy – Chemotherapy is a systemic treatment, its effects affect both healthy cells as cancer cells. Generally, these effects depend to a large proportion of drugs prescribed and their dosage. The anti-cancer drugs quickly affect cell division. This means that the white blood cells, which fight against infection, are also affected.

This combination of factors explains why patients are more prone to infections and fatigue or even anemia during cancer treatment. Similarly, this change of cell division causes hair loss or alopecia. Intestinal disorders such as diarrhea, nausea and vomiting, and finally lesions in the mouth (mucositis) can be observed.

Hormonotherapy – Side effects caused by hormonotherapy depend largely on the type of treatment used and prescribed medicines.
One of the drugs in hormonotherapy is called Tamoxifen: it has the effect of depriving cancer cells of estrogen. The Tamoxifen can cause hot flashes, irritation or vaginal discharge, nausea and irregular menstruation.
During and after cancer treatment (conventional treatment)
